A number,
or keep yours.

You can take a new business number in Bizzle or forward your existing line to it. Forwarding means nothing on your van, your website or your customers' phones has to change, and you can stop at any time by removing the divert.

Two ways to start

  1. 1

    Take a new number

Choose one in the portal and it is live immediately. Useful for testing without touching anything customers currently use.

  2. 2

    Or forward your existing line

Set a divert with your current provider so calls reach Bizzle. Your published number is unchanged, and removing the divert reverses it instantly.

  3. 3

    Decide what diverts when

Everything, only when engaged, or only after a number of rings. Many people start with unanswered-only and widen it once they trust it.

  4. 4

Test before you rely on it

Ring it yourself. Hear how it answers, check the booking lands in your calendar, and adjust the wording before anything real depends on it.

Why forwarding is the low-risk route

It changes nothing anyone can see. The number on your van, your website and in your customers' phones stays exactly as it was, and the arrangement is reversible in a minute.

It also means you keep the asset. A business phone number that customers have saved for years is worth more than most small businesses realise, and it should never be tied to a supplier you might leave.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions people ask.

Can I keep my number if I leave?

Yes. A forwarded number was never ours to begin with, and a Bizzle number can be ported out. Your number is your property either way.

What does a call cost?

Connected talk time counts against your plan's included minutes, then a flat 20p per minute. Missed-call textbacks, transcripts and web chat are not charged as minutes.

Can I have more than one number?

Yes — separate numbers for different trades, locations or campaigns, all answered with their own instructions and reporting separately.

Can I still answer calls myself?

Yes. Set the divert to unanswered-only or after a number of rings, and you pick up when you can; Bizzle takes what you miss. Many people run it that way permanently.
