BIZZLE FOR CHARITIES
Funds kept
where they belong.
Bizzle is an AI back office for small charities. It keeps restricted and unrestricted funds apart, tracks Gift Aid on eligible donations, produces reporting trustees can actually read, and handles payroll for staff and volunteers' expenses.
WHAT YOU GET
For money that comes with conditions attached.
Restricted funds kept restricted
Grant money given for one purpose is tracked against that purpose, so spending it correctly is enforced by the system rather than remembered by one person.
Gift Aid tracked as donations arrive
Eligible donations and declarations recorded at the point of giving, so the claim is assembled rather than reconstructed — and nothing claimable is missed.
Reporting a trustee can read
Income and spend by fund and by activity, in a form that answers the questions a trustee board actually asks, without an accountant translating first.
Payroll and volunteer expenses
Staff payroll with RTI, plus volunteer expense reimbursement recorded properly — an area small charities routinely get informal and later regret.
WHY IT ADDS UP
Why it makes sense when you answer to funders and trustees.
A charity's bookkeeping is not only for HMRC. Funders ask what their grant achieved, trustees carry legal responsibility for money they did not spend themselves, and the Charity Commission expects fund accounting rather than a single balance. That is more structure than a spreadsheet gives you, on less admin budget than anyone would like. Bizzle provides the structure without the headcount.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions people ask.
Does Bizzle do fund accounting?
Yes. Restricted funds are tracked against their purpose and unrestricted ones separately, so spending a grant on the wrong thing is caught by the system rather than by a trustee later. Reports come out by fund and by activity.
Can it help with Gift Aid claims?
Eligible donations and declarations are recorded at the point of giving, so the claim is assembled rather than reconstructed. Submitting it to HMRC is still done by you or your accountant; the rules on what qualifies are on gov.uk.
How do trustees see the numbers?
Trustees get their own logins at no cost, with reporting in a form that answers the questions a board actually asks. What they do with it is governance, which no software provides.
Can it reimburse volunteer expenses properly?
Volunteer expenses are captured with their receipts and paid back through the ledger, so they are a record rather than a note in a drawer. Anything that starts to look like pay rather than expenses is one for your accountant before it becomes a habit.
