BIZZLE FOR PAINTERS AND DECORATORS
Priced by the job.
Paid on the day.
Bizzle is an AI back office for painters and decorators. It shows whether your day rate or your fixed prices actually pay, keeps materials against the job that used them, invoices on completion with a payment link, and brings past customers back round.
WHAT YOU GET
The difference between busy and profitable.
Day rate against fixed price, honestly
Hours and materials recorded per job show which pricing model earns more on which kind of work — the answer is rarely the one you assume.
Materials counted, not absorbed
Paint, paper and sundries land against the job rather than disappearing into a monthly total, so a job that needed four coats does not quietly cost you the margin.
Past customers brought back round
Decorating is repeat work on a long cycle. Bizzle remembers who you did what for and when, so the follow-up happens without you scrolling back through two years of messages.
Invoices that chase themselves
Sent from the van the moment the job is signed off, with a payment link on every one, and politely chased on a schedule you set until they are paid.
WHY IT ADDS UP
Why it makes sense when the margin is in the estimate.
Decorating is priced on judgement — how many coats, how much prep, how long the ceiling will really take — and the difference between a good and a bad estimate is a day's wages either way. Without records that judgement never improves, because nobody remembers what the last one actually took. Bizzle keeps the hours and materials against each job, so estimating gets better with every year you trade.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions people ask.
Does Bizzle tell me whether day rate or fixed price pays better?
It shows you. Hours and materials are recorded against each job, so the margin on your day-rate work and your fixed-price work sit side by side. Which one you then charge is a judgement it will not make for you.
How do I track paint per job when I buy it in bulk?
Assign the tins to the job when they are opened rather than when they are bought, and the bulk receipt is split accordingly. It is less tidy than a receipt per job, but it stops four coats of the wrong white being absorbed into the month.
Can it remind me to go back to customers I decorated years ago?
Yes. Bizzle keeps who you did what for and when, and surfaces the customers due a follow-up rather than leaving it to a scroll through two years of messages. The message itself is yours to send or not.
What about customers who pay cash on the last day?
Record it as cash against the invoice and the ledger is correct; the books do not care how you were paid, only that it is written down. The payment link on the invoice is there for the ones who would rather not carry an envelope.
